Battle it out in the Carlito Con 2026 competitive Magic the Gathering Modern Tournament. Compete for merch, store credit, and exclusive items.
These are 1v1 matches featuring a minimum 60-card main deck (with up to 15 cards in the sideboard). Modern games typically run about 20 minutes each. Except for basic lands (Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest, and Wastes), your main deck and sideboard combined can't include more than four copies of any card—counted by its English card title. The format draws from powerful cards and strategies across the past two decades of Magic.

Open sealed packs with up to 7 other competitors and demonstrate your knowledge of the game as you craft a deck of at least 40 cards on the spot! Experience the ultimate deck building thrill were every pick counts as you sculpt your strategy from raw boosters! Then clash with your opponents in 1v1 one matches - where raw creativity, ingenuity, and killer instincts separate legends from the pack!

With a card pool of 20k+ cards, your options for how to dominate your opponents are nearly unlimited! Test your political savvy as you form alliances, engage in diplomacy, and spring betrayals at the opportune moment to take down your foes - after all, there can only be one Commander left standing.
